Do you provide voice modulation training for teens?
Yes, youth ages 12 years old and up.
Youth ages 16+ are considered adults per internal guidelines.
Do you provide voice training for drag performers?
Yes, we serve drag performers working on voice modulation and/or singing voice as part of their performance skills and talents.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Most major insurances in California, Colorado, Hawaii, and New Mexico are accepted including Tricare, Medicaid, and Medicare. Other states, please inquire.
If we can't bill your insurance, we can provide a super bill so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance.
A low private pay rate is also available.
Do you accept Medicaid and Medicare?
Yes we accept Medicaid and Medicare in Colorado, Hawaii, and New Mexico.
What is your private pay rate?
The private pay rate is $40 per 30 minute session.
How can I pay for my session?
A credit card is required to be on file for payment of services.
Do you accept other voice clients?
We only provide voice modulation services to the LGBTQIA2S+ community at this time. However, we regularly provide referrals to other SLPs specializing in voice; please contact us for a referral list and recommendations.
Do you offer voice rehabilitation services?
Yes, we offer vocal fold restoration and laryngeal rehabilitation for clients with acute and chronic conditions such as laryngitis, laryngeal edema, laryngeal erythema, reflux disease, laryngeal scleroderma, etc., using water resistance therapy as our foundational process for repairing and restoring the vocal folds, and the cartilages of the laryngeal mechanism.
What do you teach?
We primarily teach to the concept of resonance control and placement and modified breathing patterns as the best, safest, and most effective way to shift a listener's perception of a speaker's voice. We teach a combination of techniques and strategies, including floor work on the mat to simulate laryngeal lift, water resistance training, straw phonation, whisper voice, panting, pitch glides, elongation of vowel sounds, and varying intonations, to support clients with achieving their ideal voice.

REMINDERS
· All people and their pronouns are respected and honored.
· Sessions are typically 30 minutes in length.
· Keep practice at home to 5 minutes daily to preserve vocal hygiene, safety, and avoid vocal fatigue.
· Agreements for private pay sessions are strictly between the therapist/instructor and the client/family.
· Parents must remain on the premises or in their car for any clients under the age of 18.
· If you are late to the session, the session may or may not be extended at the clinician’s discretion.
· If the clinician is late to the session, please feel free to request a make-up or extended session.
· Make-up, water, and any snacks you see in the office are ALWAYS FREE! Please take them!
